The people who run the charter boat in Florida which was banned from a Fort Pierce marina because it featured bikini clad/topfree lady mates have consulted an attorney and are circulating a petition to build up public support.
The boat was banned because the marina features "family events", even though the women in the bikinis were never seen on the dock, only took their tops off miles from shore, and the boat enforced a strict "no touch" policy.
Once again, it's all about the nipples. As far as I know, there is no law preventing anyone from wearing a bikini on a boat, male or female. In addition, I know of no law preventing anyone from getting totally naked on a boat out to sea, otherwise how could there be nude cruises?
No, it's those pesky female nipples which cause people to lose all sensibility, that they need to be covered up at all time for the sake of "the children".
This appears to be a clear case of discrimination. If a bunch of men go out fishing, downing beers with their man boobs hanging out, nobody bats an eyelash, but should a woman do the same - well, suddenly someone is offended.
The rest of the world must really think we are nuts.

First I must say that I'm really glad to have see that you're back! I've really missed you and your interesting and intelligent postings.
I would like though to comment this post with another view. In my opinion this is a case where someone is using the female nipple to make a unique selling point and differ from the competition. The boat-owner offers the service of "visible female nipples" to his (?) customers. It does not really take the focus away from the female breast, but rather put the searchlight on them and emphazises on their cultural uniqueness.
Anyway, thanks for a great blog and keep up the good work. I will listen to you and take the plunge this summer and start going to the nude beach in the area, hopefully with the whole family.
Fair point, but anyone who has been reading this blog knows that I personally abhor the sexualization of the female breast, but at the same time I support the right to exploit. It's supposedly a free country. Our government allows a huge and profitable pornography business to thrive, yet it cracks down on strippers and prostitutes. Compared to pornography, the titty cruises are child's play. Also, the male nipple is exploited all the time, pick up any fashion magazine and look at all the buff, waxed pretty boy models showing off their bodies. This is just a matter of equal rights and discrimination.
