The woman featured in today's photos is Linda, a favorite subject of 1960s nudist photographers. She was apparently a member of the now-defunct Bruins club of Ohio, but also frequented the Spartans and Buck's Kin Lodge. According to this source, the Bruins were raided in 1948 after authorities located the club with an airplane. Edith Church was a member and clothed when the sheriff, deputies and newspaper reporters barged in, forcing her to disrobe for photographic evidence. All members of the club were arrested, charged and convicted. Edith took her case all the way to the Supreme Court, but lost when they refused to hear her case. Anyway, here's a glimpse at some happier times with the Bruins.
