A "Human Fox Hunt" is scheduled to take place at Lupin Lodge in Los Gatos, California, May 6-8, 2011. The organizer for the event, a person who goes by the name of "smashwolf", has posted the following photos on his Twitpic account. Just thought that AANR and TNS might like some visuals illustrating what might be taking place at this "family friendly" resort. I apologize for the graphic sexual content, but I feel it's necessary for naturists and nudists to see what is happening. Please note that these photos are not hidden in any way, and are able to be freely shared and added to any blog or website, according to "smashwolf's" account settings. "Hi,
I just want to thank-you for standing up for decency in nudism and bringing the Lupin Lodge issue to light. From what I have seen of a number of other nudist web sites, you appear to be one of a very few who are speaking out on this issue. As the saying goes "All that is required for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing". Yet one more reason why your site has been a favorite of mine. Keep up the good work!"

I wouldn't call these erotic fetish groups "evil", but overt sexuality is simply not part of the stated standards and philosophies of organized nudism and naturism.
They aren't nude. They are in fur suits making a spectacle of themselves.
If Lupin Lodge is sponsoring these events, they should have their ANRR and TNS affiliation revoked. Furry vacations don't belong in Nudism. I told the people on So Furry that if I wore a fur suit, I wouldn't be naked. And it's true. This isn't a nudist activity, it's a clothed activity that orbits around sexuality.
Sex is good, really it is, but Lupin Lodge should not advertise itself as a nude family friendly resort after catering to this lot. Nude families and single nudists should not go there and find some other place to live. Nudism is all about enjoying nudity without the nuttiness that comes with exhibitionism and overt sexuality out in the open.
I feel that a new venue should be found and that Lupin Lodge should advertise itself as a swingers resort.
Why would anybody go to a nude resort to put on a costume?
Believe me, I have no idea.
Update: I told the people at So Furry about this, and they overreacted. They thought that I was destroying their fun. I explained that I wasn't destroying their fun, but ours was already destroyed.
It's ironic that a fursuiter can walk down the street dressed as an anthro-animal and not be carted off, but a human being going down natural in public can be taken to jail.
It's actually baffling to me. We should be able to go naked in public or at least the women should be able to go bare breasted everywhere a man can.
