“This was a photo which was taken privately,” a statement from Hudgens’ rep read. “It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public.”This could be an important because it appears that Hudgens is not going to apologize, express any shame, or sue anybody, which is the modus operandi for most Hollywood actresses when they are "exposed" in the press.
It should be "no big deal" for anyone to be seen in the nude.

I maybe crazy, but who gives a crap about her being nude. Vanessa Hudgens's nude photos do nothing to promote or further nudism. Being nude does not mean she is a nudist. The back story is that Vanessa sent the photo as a sexual enticement to her lover. It would be different if she was making a statement. Also the photo was published without her consent. How would you or I want our nude photos on the web without our consent?
I never said she was a nudist. The important aspect of this story is how Hudgens reacted to the release of this photo - she admitted to it and offered no apology. Any story that relates to public perceptions on nudity has relevance to the nudist community. In this case, we have a young actress who has confidence in her own body and is apparently not ashamed. If indeed the photo was released without her consent, she has the right to bring a lawsuit, but there is no evidence that she will do that. It appears that she is just letting it go, and that is a distinct difference from what others in similar situations have done.

Not the point at all Guy's and gals,
As a public figure aspiring to a stardom she seeks to maintain as well as does her sponsors an image of the wholesome girl next door. Problem, a display of nudity public or private to a would be lover still in this day and age does not bode well for that the person doing it if they get nailed by a photographer. When you condsider Hudgyes whose release of new film material form Disney and music material from the past year the wholesome girl next door image goes out the window.Ultimately parent stop letting kids watch and listen, viola no more sales. So I wish the girl good luck and I hope the Disney Media train can paint the pretty picture again but given Brittany Spears and Lohan's recent activity I think there gonna have there hands full.
