Male circumcision isn't falling out of favour in our house. My husband is circumcised, and we had our son circumcised -much to the dismay of some medical people- soon after his birth. There was no religious reason for this, both my husband and I think it is better for prevention against some of the infections raised in the article. Aesthetically, I also find it more pleasing than an uncut penis anyway. I'm also appalled at how this subject continues to vex naturists. Some men are, some men aren't and when talking to people on a naturist beach I don't judge them by their foreskin (or lack thereof).

I did not take a stand for or against circumcision, I just found the article interesting. There is a good case to be made on either side, that circumcision is a form of mutilation, or that it is a necessary preventative step for better health. Like Elaine on Seinfeld once said, an uncircumcised penis "has no face, no personality'.

Apologies, nudiarist, if I gave the impression that I was singling you out for 'continuing to make it an issue'. That was not my intention. I was merely expanding on the manner in which naturist forums (and naturists...although sometimes I get the impression that the fixation on circumcision and erections on some naturist websites aren't by genuine naturists) continue to debate what is, for most genuine naturists, a non-issue. Apologies for any confusion.
