Indefinite Hiatus

First of all, I want to thank everyone who stops by every day and reads this little nudist blog, which averages about 1100 visitors per day. I'm glad that so many find nudism of interest.

Blogging is basically a labor of love, requiring constant renewal. Sadly, I have lost much of my enthusiam for writing, and while still committed to the nudist lifestyle, I've just run out of gas. This is due in part with the sad state of nudism and naturism in central Ohio, which is approaching extinction. I'm sure that if I was located in Florida or California it would be a lot easier to find inspiration.

Anyway, I am keeping the blog open, and will still be back now and then when the spirit moves.

Stay committed to body freedom, and stay naked.

Sorry to read about the hiatus, But I undertand what you're saying. I'd like you to know how much I appreciate all the effort you've put into this. Thank you!
There is a lot of writing, interesting articles and wonderful photos here, so I'm hoping that the blog does stay open for a while so that others can learn from and enjoy it. I'm sure I'll be looking back at it from time to time. I'll be staying naked in Massachusetts!

I too am sorry to read about your hiatus. Likewise, I understand. You have been very helpful to me. Thank you. I can understand some of your feelings. It seems like our society is becoming more and more clothing obsessive. (I wonder if this is a pendelum swing in reaction to the ready availability of pornography.) I too feel somewhat discouraged.
Again, thank you.

I know how you feel. I had a blog called "Nude Freedom" and just got tired of it. I felt I was losing an up hill battle against all the perverts out there.

A word of advice. When I closed my blogger account, someone took over the URL and turned it into a porno site. You're wise to keep it open and out of the hands of those who would distroy your good name and hard work.

Thank you for having one of the best nudist blogs!

It is a loss of a quality voice in the nudist world. But I have done my own daily blog for the last year and it is a tough job with not a lot of reward. I hope somebody out in cyberspace might want to carry on where you have left off. Have a good hiatus.

Hi,
This is Tom from The Terra Cotta Inn. I will miss your posts. You have the best nudist blog around.

Although, you don't feel inspired anymore, I bet your blog has help convince many first timers to try nudism. You should be very proud of yourself for that.

Being from Chicago, I know how there is not much nudist activities in the midwest except in the summer because of the bad weather. But, midwesterners love nudism to, they just go to areas with good weather.

Take good care of yourself. Tom

Bummer. Will have to find a site that offers the same great info and piccies that yours does, but I doubt there is one. Sorry to see you go, but I fully understand that all good things must come to an end sometime.

Hopefully, you'll move to a better city and become inpired again. :-) All the best and thanks for a great site.

Anyone interested in banding together to create a new nudist site with similar info to complement this site?
Email me noodsolo@hotmail.com.

Don't give up the ship just yet. Relax, when your Muse speaks to you, write.
Regular blog writing is a strain, sometmes the words just aren't there and when you find yoursef trying to find something to say, just to say something, it's time to take a break.
A newspaper columnist get's paid to do something he/she loves, we do something we love and don't get paid. Don't do it if you don't love it.
That said, looking forward to you next (inspired) post! (AllNudist.wordpress.com)

I understand your frustration.

I'm just returning to blogging after a hiatus, and I encourage your readers to check out my "Clothing Impaired Nudist Blog" at http://arbyarthur.livejournal.com

I'm a full-time nudist who was raised as a nudist as a child (in a clothing optional family), and I am still living the nudist lifestyle today.

Please come back and post occasional updates. We miss you.

Your blog is a thoughtful voice of sanity in a world of shallow unquestioned fashion. Enjoy your break and I'll look back from time to time to check if your OK.
