New Zealand World Naked Bike Ride 2010

More than 150 people participated in the Golden Bay, New Zealand portion of the World Naked Bike Ride on March 13. It is reported that the atmosphere was relaxed and happy, and "not one person" objected to being photographed, a stark contrast to the anger felt by the organizer of the women's topfree protest recently in Maine, who found all the photographers and gawkers "upsetting". The future of the body freedom movement lies in those who are willing to put themselves in public view, and not in those who practice nude recreation behind locked gates and high fences.
