I have never been able to understand why some people, including the military brass, have this crazy belief that men and women in the military have to be held to a higher moral standard than the rest of the population. It's been like that for decades.

They want to believe soldiers should never even show an interest in sex outside of marriage. For crying out loud, the Army isn't the Boy Scouts or church camp. Everyone in the military is an ADULT, let's not treat them like children.
