End of an Era at San Onofre

The Los Angeles Times has an article about California's San Onofre beach losing its unofficial clothing-optional status.
"There's strength in numbers...If they chase away the naturists who protect the family-friendly atmosphere of the beach, all that will be left is the bad element."(R. Allen) Baylis, a Huntington Beach lawyer whose license plates read NUDELAW, promises a legal challenge if the citations begin flying after Labor Day."Criminalizing the nude human body just doesn't make any sense," he said. "The swimsuit is the most ridiculous piece of clothing ever invented. It's all about modesty. There's really no function to it."
