Is Nudism Just for the Elderly?

Old nudists never die, they apparently just put their clothes back on and go live with their children. Some folks in Florida are thinking about developing a clothes-free assisted living facility so that old nudists can ride their Rascals to bingo, and hold walker races. Seriously, it's a good idea, but this won't do much to help lure a younger generation into the lifestyle.

The link doesn't work at the moment, so i can't read the article, but it almost does seem that nudism is for the elderly. Every nudist event i go to is made up of the mostly over-60 crowd. Or at least over 50.

A nudist care facility is an awesome idea! I hope that it is something that catches on! Of course it doesn't attract young people to nudism, and it's not meant to! Its only purpose would be to make old nudists happy! And that is a good thing! :-)

For anyone who's received care in their own homes, this care facility seems like a brilliant idea. Normally, if you're ill, disabled or elderly, you have to hide aspects of your usual lifestyle so as not to embarass the carers. You'll also be thoroughly pissed off with jokes about walkers and stair lifts, but that's for another day.

I can't see how this affects young people taking part in nudism one way or the other. Maybe if the nudist establishment wasn't a hundred years out of date, that would help!

Nicholas, certainly it is a brilliant idea, but nobody is talking about day care centers, or other facilities for anyone under 50. This furthers the perception that nudists are just old and dying out.
