Australia Courts Nude Tourists

A Melbourne businessman could soon be bringing a nudist retreat to Alice Springs, and is engaged in discussions with Tourism Central Australia.

He said if the nudist retreat went ahead it would be built 50-70km out of Alice Springs and would likely include facilities for bushwalking and other outdoor activities. The retreat would seek to attract tourists from around Australia and overseas.

"It would sit very well with a niche market,'' Mr Grigg said.

He said early feedback on the proposal had all been positive.
