The Daily Newds

  • A Burlington Free Press writer reflects upon past and present experiences with nude dancers on stage.
We sat through the performance, and by the end, the entire audience had become inured to the nudity, which I suppose was the point.
  • A Vancouver gallery is showcasing a show of genderbending photographs by David Ellingsen. The subject matter is Michael V. Smith, a "diva about town".
"People have a real phobia of bodies," continues Smith. "People are terrified of nudity and many people are deeply, deeply invested in two genders. They don't understand anything beyond it. They don't want to."
  • The nude photos of former Air Force staff sergeant Michelle Manhart are online here. See them before they are taken down. You can buy Playboy at military PXs, you just can't be in the magazine.
  • A Cambodian girl who vanished 19 year ago at the age of 8 was captured recently. She was naked and unable to speak an intelligible language, apparently half-human and half-animal, a real-life Tarzan woman.
  • A Mississippi writer is cluless on the appeal of nudity in hot tubs.
Do they wear their bathrobes out there and peal them off, then hop into the tub? Or do they use slow, languishing moves from the house to the tub and then slowly flip their body parts into the basins? Or do they run like crazy, sans garments, from the house to the tub, jump in at a high rate of speed and nearly knock themselves out when they hit the solid soaker?
