"It's Being Accepted"

People are into the nudist/naturist lifestyle for various reasons: the freedom, getting closer to nature, the thrill, the social aspect, body-acceptance, etc. But what motivates a woman to pose nude for Playboy magazine? Recently a reporter sat in on a tryout session for a "Girls of the Big Ten" pictorial.
A Playboy spokeswoman would not disclose how much the magazine pays the models, but (photographer Kim) Mizuno said that money is very rarely a motivating factor.

As for how she would feel if she walked into a store and saw men looking at her naked picture and commenting, Amber Sue said she would be thrilled.

"I would love it," she said. "It's being accepted."
When you flip through a Playboy magazine, it does not seem plausible that the lovely women inside are simply striving for acceptance, but apparently even people with the most "ideal" bodies have insecurities about themselves.
